Mad Professor Amplification is a Finnish music electronics company, founded in 2006, that specializes in high-quality guitar effects pedals and amplifiers. The brand is known for its boutique designs, focusing on both vintage and modern tones for professional and hobbyist guitarists. Their products are built with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, clarity, and tonal versatility. Mad Professor has gained popularity with its guitar pedals, such as the Deep Blue Delay and Sweet Honey Overdrive, for their dynamic response and musicality.
In 2024 Mad Professor Amplification was acquired by two young Finnish entrepreneurs with years of experience in pedal design and manufacturing. The new owners committed to continue the high standard of production that the company is known for.
Mad Professor Amplification is considered a go-to brand for players seeking reliable, hand-built equipment that captures a wide range of tonal possibilities, from clean to overdriven sounds.
